19th century portrait, signed Luigi De Servi

Italian painting of the late 19th century. Artwork oil on canvas, on the first canvas, depicting The Yawn, portrait of a bored young schoolboy of excellent pictorial quality. Beautifully sized and pleasantly furnished artwork decorated with a non-coeval wooden frame. Painting that stands out for the extraordinary naturalism and for the virtuosity of the painter in representing in such an excellent way an almost caricatured grimace. Note the inkwell and finely painted sheets on the counter (see photo). Painting signed upper right De Servi (see photo) referable to the Tuscan painter Luigi De Servi (1863-1945) lacking authentication. Painting that has undergone a slight restoration with color recovery in a point of the student's jacket, overall in a good state of conservation.
