Antique mythological painting from 17th century depicting the judgment of Paris. The Trojan prince must donate the golden apple to the most beautiful of Athena, Hera and Aphrodite. The latter offered our hero the love of Elena and the choice of her triggered the Trojan war and then the foundation of Rome. Italian oil painting on canvas of beautiful pictorial hand, in a luxuriant landscape we can distinguish the figures of Athena in armor, of Hera with the peacock beside and Aphrodite winner with the bone of contention. Painting restored and relined during the twentieth century, taken up in some points, overall in good state of conservation.
