Great 17th century bucolic landscape

Antique Italian painting from the second half of the 17th century. Artwork oil on canvas depicting a bucolic landscape typical of the style of Philipp Peter Roos, known as Rosa da Tivoli, lacking authentication. In the foreground we find a cow and a goat with his kid while in the background the shepherd with his dog and ruins in the distance. Painting of great charm and considerable size, for antique dealers and collectors of seventeenth-century landscapes. Not contemporary frame in carved and gilded wood of beautiful decoration, with some signs of aging. Painting that has undergone a restoration with relining and color recovery in small points, overall in a good state of conservation. Sight size H 100 x W 127 cm.
