Great antique religious painting of Saint Bonaventure from 17th century

Antique Italian painting from the 17th century. Framework oil on canvas depicting a religious subject Saint Bonaventure in Franciscan habit of excellent pictorial quality. Contemporary wooden frame, carved, tortoiseshell lacquered and gilded of fabulous decoration. Painting of great size and impact, ideal to be placed in a living room or studio, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of ancient sacred art. Very refined Saint Bonaventure of Bagnoregio identifiable by the Cardinal's hat placed on the stool (see photo). Framework that has undergone a conservative restoration, relining and color recovery in some points (see photo).
