Great inlaid bureau in Louis XVI style

Italian bureau from the mid-20th century. Furniture moved on the front and on the sides richly inlaid in Louis XVI style in walnut, rosewood, maple, burl, palisander and fruitwood. Halfmoon-shaped bureau, of particular shape and proportion, equipped with three external drawers and fall-front. Interior complete with two small drawers, a central door, six compartments for documents and a wooden desk top in character of good size and service (see photo). Bureau equipped with a working key (both for the drawer and for the fall-front). Furniture pleasantly adorned with inlays with views, cups and flowers (see photo) and supported by four inverted truncated pyramid feet, also inlaid, of good solidity. It has some small signs of wear, structurally sound, overall in good state of conservation.
