Great religious painting from 17th century, the Resurrection of Lazarus

Antique religious painting from the 17th century. Large-sized artwork of the Venetian school with a remarkable scenic impact. Oil painting on canvas depicting the episode of the miracle of the resurrection of Lazarus. Christ is in the center, on the sides we find numerous dismayed characters in different poses that give dynamism to the composition. On the left perhaps the painter himself, who is looking at us pointing to himself. In the background Renaissance architectures act as a backdrop. Painting of great pictorial quality, the painter's ability to represent the clothes of the protagonists was remarkable. Work that has undergone a restoration, relining and color recovery in some points, overall in a good state of conservation. Very pleasant wooden and gilded plaster frame from the 19th century, with some signs of aging. Sight size H 151 x W 220 cm.
