Ancient Italian painting from the second half of the 17th century. Framework oil on canvas of exceptional size depicting a religious subject Saint Veronica of good pictorial quality. Painting without frame, ideal to be placed in an important living room or studio, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of ancient sacred art. Framework that has undergone a conservative restoration, relining and replacement of the frame during the 20th century (see picture). Painting characterized by bright colors and particular perspective, finely finished in the smallest details (see picture). It has two drops of color on the right (see picture), easily restored. Given the time, overall in a good state of conservation with two drops of color.
