Italian painting from the middle of the 20th century. Framework oil on panel depicting landscape with female figure in impressionist style of good pictorial quality. Nice size and pleasantly decorated painting with ebonized guilloche wooden frame (see picture). Painting signed lower right Pagnotta (see picture) referable to the painter Antonio Pagnotta (1900 - ?), missing authentication. Painting of excellent proportion, easily inserted in different parts of the house, for antique dealers and collectors of Italian painting of the 20th century. The panel has holes on the front (see picture) with associated color drops due to woodworms that are now inactive. Overall framework in fairly good state of conservation, to be restored.
