Italian painting from the first half of the 20th century. Framework oil on board depicting Peasant woman with basket of good pictorial quality. Finely carved and gilded wooden and plaster frame equipped with a painted wooden passe-partout (see photo). Nice sized and pleasantly furnished painting signed lower right R. Locatelli (see photo) referable to the painter Romualdo Locatelli (1905-1943) without authentication. Painting of excellent proportion and good brightness, it can be easily placed in different parts of the house, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of Italian works of the genre. It shows some small signs of the time, overall in a good state of conservation. Sight size H 69 x W 49 cm.
