Antique German painting from the 18th century. Artwork oil on canvas depicting a portrait of the famous painter Joachim Von Sandrart (1606-1688), an ancient copy of the self-portrait now kept in the Uffizi in Florence. The painter is good at being able to replicate Sandrart's masterpiece in great detail, from the marble sculpture to the hilt of the sword (see photo). High quality work adorned with an ancient, non-coeval frame in carved and gilded wood and plaster (bronze tint). Nice size painting and great decor for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of antique portraits. Artwork that has undergone a conservative restoration, relining, replacement of the frame and color recovery in some points (see photo). In good condition. Sight size H 116 x W 96 cm.
