Antique Italian painting from the second half of the 17th century. Oil on canvas artwork of the Lombard School, of exceptional quality, depicting a peasant woman with eggs. Painting of excellent size and proportion adorned with a non-coeval frame, from the 19th century, carved and gilded with some signs of wear (see photo). Painting with a dark background, characterized by a strong contrast with the luminosity of the character and the decorative elements. Artwork that can be easily placed in different parts of the house, for antique dealers and collectors. Painting that has undergone a conservative restoration, re-lined, replacement of the frame and color recovery in some points (see photo). Fabulous and rare subject, difficult to find.
