Belgian painting portrait of a gentleman

Large Belgian painting dated 1920. Framework oil on canvas, on the first canvas, depicting a portrait of a gentleman (Alfons Baudts 1847-1921) of excellent pictorial quality. Large size and impact painting with wooden and plaster frame, sculpted and gilded, with some lacks of decoration (see photo) to be restored. Painting for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of antique portraits, ideal to be placed in a living room or studio. Painting signed and dated lower right (see photo), referable to the Belgian painter Leo Steel (1878-1938), without authentication. Canvas with small stains and signs of aging (see photos). In fair condition, to be restored. Sight size H 113 x W 83 cm.
