Great Venetian painting from the 16th century, Madonna with Child and Saints with the Scapular

Antique painting of the Venetian school from the second half of the 16th century. Oil on canvas artwork depicting the Madonna and Child with Saints, of excellent pictorial quality. We find St. Helena with the cross, St. Catherine with the wheel next to it, St. Roch holding a stick and a last character in the top left who looks at us by breaking through the fourth wall, probably the client. In the hands of Jesus we recognize the Scapular of the Carmelite order of Venice, a rectangle sewn to laces that must be kept on the chest, used by devotees of the Virgin Mary. Carved, gilded and painted wooden frame from the 19th century, of beautiful decoration, adapted to the painting during the 20th century. Artwork that has undergone a restoration with relining, replacement of the frame and color recovery in some points, overall in good state of conservation. Sight size H 98 x W 132 cm.
