Antique Chinese painting from the first half of the 19th century. Tempera artwork on paper depicting a popular scene of great charm and pictorial quality, note the mastery with which the figures and naturalistic details of the mountains are represented. Non-coeval frame in gilded wood, beautifully decorated. Painting for antique dealers and collectors of ancient oriental painting, difficult to find. Painting that has undergone conservative restoration with application on canvas, replacement of the frame and recovery of color in some places. Painting that is part of a pair (see photo and ask for the price of the pair if available). It still has some small drops of color (see photo) and signs of aging, overall in a fair state of conservation. Sight size H 163 x W 91 cm.
