Great 17th century Italian painting. Framework oil on canvas depicting a subject of sacred art, the flagellation of Jesus on the column, for antique dealers and collectors of high-epoch religious painting. Painting of excellent pictorial quality and great character, the quality of the complexion and the colors of the clothes are valuable. 20th century frame in carved and lacquered wood, with some discoloration and signs of aging (see photo).
